Head’s Welcome

Welcome, Akwaaba, Zapraszah, Witamy, Bienvenido, Kaabo, прошу,

St Scholastica’s is an inclusive school where staff work hard to ensure that the needs of all our children are met in every aspect of school life. Each child is given plenty of experience and opportunity so that when they leave us at the end of Year 6, they will feel confident, responsible and competent members of society, ready for Secondary School.

My vision for the school is to ensure our children are enthusiastic about their learning because of the broad, balanced and creative curriculum we offer.

As a Catholic school, we keep God at the centre of all that we think, do and say. We encourage children to engage daily with their faith by providing opportunities to reflect, pray and put their beliefs into practice. Our dedicated and skilled staff, governing body and parish family work hard to ensure that children experience the love and knowledge of Christ. His enduring love, His continual forgiveness and His lasting presence in all aspects of our life.

Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a Catholic to attend our school, we welcome children and families of all faiths and none. We simply ask that children and families are supportive of our Catholic ethos.

As Headteacher, I look forward to working in partnership with you and your child and hope that your child finds, in our school, a happy, friendly and secure atmosphere. I am eagerly anticipating watching your children grow in confidence, knowledge and spirituality during their time at our school.
