VISITING AND LEARNING ABOUT OUR PARISH AND DIOCESE
We regularly visit our parish church to support our learning in class. We learn about our parish, our school and parish saint and the diocese of Westminster.
MASSES AND PRIEST VISITING OUR SCHOOL
Each half term KS2 classes attend a morning mass service in church with the local parishioners. We also attend holy days of oblingation services that fall during the academic year. The priest regularly visits our school for various different services and blessings in the hall.
ALTAR SERVERS  AND PREPARING FOR SACRAMENTS
Many of the children at our school belong to the parish of St Scholasticas and take an active role in the chruch services. Some of children are altar servers. Some of the children in year 4 and 5, attend classes preparing for their first Communion. Each year Mrs Brierley and the childrens class teacher attend the first Holy Communion mass for our pupils.
BISHOP HUDSON VISITS OUR SCHOOL
In 2021, we were  overjoyed to welcome Bishop Hudson to our school and tell him all about our religious learning. The Paplins gave him a tour of our school and he read us a Bible story.
