We are a Catholic School, however you do not need to be a practising Catholic to work at St Scholastica's but you must show a willingness to actively support to our Catholic ethos.

TEACHING ASSISTANT VACANCY

Scale 4    7 -10 £30,987 - £32,346    FTE

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who not only holds the relevant qualification but also has substantial experience supporting primary-aged children, including those with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will be confident in working across a range of ages and abilities and have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, as well as current guidance and best practice in supporting the learning and development of pupils with diverse needs. Midday meal suppervision will form part of this role.

NURSERY OFFICER VACANCY

Pay scale: Scale 6 - Spine point 16 -18

We are looking for a member of staff who not only holds the required qualification but has extensive experience of working with 2 and 3-year-olds. As the 2 year old provision is a new venture, the successful applicant will need a direct experience of working with 2 year olds and a detailed knowledge of the Early Years Framework and other non-statutory curriculum guidance for the early years foundation stage.
