WHAT IS MENTAL HEALTH?

When we hear the word mental health we can immediately think something is wrong. Everyone has mental health, it’s something that constantly needs nurturing and attention.

Mental health, defined by the World Health Organization, is “a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community”

How we can help

In the first instance speak to your child’s class teacher about your concerns.
